    Vanessa Ting Chief Buyer & Co-Founder at Buyerly

    Vanessa is a product junkie and black-belt shopper, which served her well in her career as a product developer, brand marketer and retail buyer for some of the nation's most well-known companies.  After years consulting with small brands to build their retail growth strategies, Vanessa identified the need for a broader communication channel between product companies and retail buyers.  After testing this idea with clients and retail buyers and refining it to meet their needs, Buyerly was born.

    "Since 2010, I have been coaching companies on how to succeed in the retail space. In this time, I have seen businesses flourish after implementing insights that come directly from retail buyers. I realized then that this knowledge should be available to all companies not just the ones who could afford my consulting services."

    Dave has a passion for technology (aka is a geek), and has a background in areas ranging from engineering and mobile technologies to media/entertainment and technology consulting for large enterprises.  He became a certified geek after obtaining his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
